We have updated http://beta.onion.tv with some of new features (mainly embed support) and yes some changes based on feedback received. Now you can add chapters, tags to youtube or longtail.tv (JW Player) too! However, we would like to admit that we haven’t been able to incorporate all the feedback at the moment but we will consider them in future releases.
You can add new video into onion.tv using ‘Create New Content’ available on right panel of home screen and adding a youtube URL (Browse youtube video directly from our application is not available for now, so browse youtube in separate browser window and copy the video URL from there e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bpd3raj8xww).
We will add support for blip.tv soon and yes also want to let you know that we do support JW Player from http://www.longtailvideo.com In case you are using JW Player on your website and want onion.tv functionality added, contact us. For your videos on youtube, register on http://beta.onion.tv and get started for free.
